Dream Manifesto: How our Reality is Created

August 23rd, 2007 by admin

When we sleep, we sometimes have dreams. I myself dream constantly both about events surrounding my life as well as fantasy-like scenarios. But whatever I dream, that is the reality for me inside the dream, even if it involves me being an alien living on Mars. It is a reality created by my mind. Real life, on the other hand, is created by my five senses. What I see, smell, touch, taste, and hear makes up the reality I create. To someone who is color-blind, color does not exist in the real world to them. Color is not part of reality to them. And to look even further, a blind person would create his entire world from the other 4 senses, and his reality could be way different than someone who could see.

I am not saying that if you simply think about something you want, you will get it. Nor am I saying that the world will become a better place if you are more optimistic. I’m not a motivational speaker and I don’t believe it’s that simple. It, however, is the first step. You must have a dream and a desire to achieve it. You have to be true to yourself. Many people talk about having dreams, but secretly believe that their dreams are unattainable. They treat their dreams just as dreams, instead as the eventual destination of their lives. This means they have no motivation to try for achievement.

If you are someone who truly believe in your desires and treat your dreams as more than just fantasy, then you are already one step ahead of the game. Dream Manifesto uses templates, sounds, and images to appeal to your senses. Since our reality is created by our senses, then if our senses are constantly exposed to our dreams in a multimedia-filled way, our minds will set out to create the path and plan required to reach these dreams.
